Associated Load Forecast Assumptions:

Southwest Power Pool uses the following assumptions for the Load Forecast and its use in AFC Calculations:

1. The Transmission Provider receives weather information from a third party for use in load forecasting.
2. Mid Term Load Forecast utilizes defined days (i.e. day of the week, national holidays,
Christmas light effect, day light saving time switch) to forecast the load.
3. For external entities, the Transmission Provider uses the Load Forecast data from
NERC System Data Exchange (SDX) assuming that is the best available information.
