KCPL Open Access Transmission Tariff
Kansas City Power & Light Co. has, in compliance with FERC orders 888 and 889, filed an open access transmission tariff. This tariff allows qualified customers to utilize KCPL’s transmission system to move power. You can download a copy of the tariff in Microsoft Word format by clicking on the hot link below:
Requests for network load can be made under KCPL's OATT. Otherwise, all requests for firm and non-firm Transmission Service across the KCPL transmission system should be made under the SWPP Regional Tariff.
SWPP Regional Tariff Registration
Firm and non-firm transmission services are offered through the Southwest Power Pool (SWPP) regional tariff. For customer registration and scheduling information through SWPP, please refer to their web site:
