Registration

To become a customer of LG&E/KU Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT), the first step is to complete a Transmission Service Agreement for the desired types of service. For each desired form of service selected, three completed copies of both Attachment A and Attachment B are required:

  • Short-Term and Long-Term firm PTP Transmission Service
    To receive short-term and/or long-term firm Point-to-Point transmission service, a customer must submit a Transmission Service Request (TSR) on LG&E’s OASIS node, and execute a Transmission Service Agreement (TSA). The standard agreement or "Form of Service Agreement for Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service" can be found in Attachment A of LG&E/KU’s OATT. The customer must execute and return the agreement prior to the start of service.
  • Non-Firm PTP Transmission Service To receive non-firm Point-to-Point transmission service, a customer must submit a Transmission Service Request (TSR) on LG&E/KU’s OASIS node, and execute a Transmission Service Agreement (TSA). The standard agreement or "Form of Service Agreement for Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service" can be found in Attachment B of LG&E/KU’s OATT. The customer must execute and return the agreement prior to the start of service.

Please forward these, along with the following:

  • A cover letter that includes a statement that your company "is an eligible customer under LGEE's Open Access Transmission Tariff."
  • A 24-hour contact person with their name, phone, fax, etc. and your financial information as described in the Creditworthiness Standards.
  • Your Dunn and Bradstreet (DUNS) number, financial statements, your current rating agency report from Standard & Poor's or Moody's as well as any other information you wish to have considered.
  • An executed LG&E/KU Credit Agreement.
  • NERC Entity Code

Lastly, access the Digital Certificate Information to obtain and register digital certificates for access to the LG&E/KU OASIS.
