For service provided beginning the month of January, 2008, Southwest Power Pool will, with the exceptions stated below, apply a 15% discount to its base charges under Section 1 of Schedule 8 for Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service provided under it's regional tariff. This discount does not apply to any other rates or charges under the tariff.

For transmission from PORs or to PODs in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, there will be no discount.

For transmission to PODs in the systems of Ameren, Associated Electric Cooperative, and Entergy there will be no discount.

For transmission from sources in the Mid-Continent Area Power Pool, with the exception of sources within the systems of Missouri Public Service Company, St. Joseph Light and Power Company, Sunflower Electric Power Corp., or West Plains Energy, Kansas, there will be no discount.

For transmission to sinks in the Mid-Continent Area Power Pool, with the exception of sinks within the systems of Missouri Public Service Company, St. Joseph Light and Power Company, Sunflower Electric Power Corp., or West Plains Energy, Kansas, a discount of 50% will apply.

For transaction where two of the above exceptions apply, the lesser of the two discounts will apply.

Additionally, with the exception of transmission service from PORs or to PODs in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, the base charges under Section 1 of Schedule 8 for Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service for service provided between the hours of 2200 and 0600 shall not exceed $1.25/MWhr and for service provided between the hours of 0600 and 2200 shall not exceed $4.00/MWhr.

SPP reserves the right to withdraw or change the discount for service not previously committed.
